  The need to ditch the everyday is strong. Taking a break from all your worries sure would help a lot. Slipping out of your situation in order to drift is imperative. Sometimes a package deal to Mallorca is enough. But, for the enlightened few, stronger technology is necessary. Here is the perfect prescription: deep plaintive repeating string figures that roll out forever across two sides of a chrome tape. As they build, peak and crash the notes start to unzip, the guitar sounds like bells, like radio interference, like swallows in the eaves. Where ever you were, you’re not there anymore.
